IOS Hotels for hotel portal sites

Do you want to have a site with multiple hotels in multiple destinations? IOS Hotels is the software you need.

IOS Hotels is a software for handling online hotel reservations. It can handle hotel assets (rooms), data (facilities, descriptions, extra services, discount coupons, etc) and processes such as reservations, payments and cancellations. It uses a smart XML/JSON API system in order to display the data and accept reservations from remote sites. So, you may have IOS Hotels installed on site A and accept bookings for your hotel from sites B, C and D. In this case there is an 1-to-1 integration with the remote site(s). Meaning that guests may search in the specific hotel only and that booking can be performed on the integrated site only. That is fine, if you own a single hotel or your want to accept reservations from a specific hotel's site. What if you wanted to display multiple hotels from multiple destinations at once, perform availability search on all of them, and let the customer book the one he prefers? Since version 3.2 IOS Hotels supports exactly this. You can enable the multiple hotels mode interface and build a hotels portal site. The best part is that this feature is actually included in the standard software package. No extra charges!

Destinations

You can add your hotels in multiple destinations which might be in the same country or in different ones. You can have destinations and sub-destinations of any level. For instance you can have a location structure like this: Greece > Cyclades islands > Mykonos. And like this: Greece > Cyclades islands > Santorini. Each location has its own page in IOS Hotels and a fixed URL which is perfect for SEO, search engines, and internal/external linking. In location page the hotels of the location are been displayed and/or any existing sub-locations.

Availability search

Via the search form you can specify the destination you want, the check-in and check-out dates and the number and type of guests (including children ages). If the destinations are in multiple countries then IOS Hotels automatically generate a tree structure for each country, so the guest can easily pick the destination he wants. The search results can be ordered in numerous ways (by price, stars, popularity, etc) and there are also filters to help you locate hotels with specific features, like hotels with free cancellation option, breakfast included, swimming pool, etc. These filters also exist in location page. The difference between the search results page and the location page is that in location page you see the hotel's minimum price while in search results page you see the actual price for the period you specified.

Hotels

The Hotels that are being displayed in site portal can also be displayed in parallel in remote sites as usual with the power of the XML/JSON APIs. However, if for some reason, you want to exclude a hotel from been displayed in site portal you can do so! You can any time completely de-activate a hotel, or just exclude it from the site portal. Regardless if a reservation comes from a remote site via the XML/JSON API, or from the portal, you manage the reservation from the same hotelier's control panel. If you make any changes to the hotel (descriptions, images, prices, etc) this change immediately becomes effective to all API-connected sites and to the portal. Of course, as always, you can add unlimited number of hotels in IOS Hotels and each hotel be managed by specific user(s) only. There is no limitations and no extra or hidden charges. The software is provided as a package with all features included and an one-time-fee.

Status, booking and other pages

IOS Hotels has a number of task specific pages and windows. Some of them are the following. My bookings: See your past reservations if you are a logged-in user, or query the status of a reservation of you are not a logged-in user. Reservation status: See the status of a reservation. Success page: Reservation/Payment success page. Fail page: Reservation/Payment failure page. Contact/Cancellation: Contact, inquiry and cancellation form for each hotel. Availability calendar: See the availability and price for any hotel's room for any date.

The multiple hotels mode is available for the site in which IOS Hotels is installed. You can not install IOS Hotels in site A and have the portal mode in site B, as you could do with a single XML/JSON API integration.
