Automatic Coupon Generation Linked to Customer Reviews

One of the most important additions in IOS Rentals 4.0 is the new automatic coupon generation system, directly connected with customer reviews. With this new feature, businesses can:

• Reward customers who leave a review
• Automatically generate discount coupons
• Encourage repeat bookings
• Increase online credibility through more customer feedback

This functionality transforms customer reviews into a practical marketing tool, helping rental companies build trust while driving recurring revenue. To enable this system navigate to IOS Rentals control panel > Coupons > click Automatic button.

Administrators can define the exact trigger point for coupon creation. Two activation modes are available:

1. Coupon generation at the moment the review request link is sent to the customer, or
2. Coupon generation upon successful review submission.

When the second option is selected (generation upon review submission), the system allows the configuration of a minimum review score threshold, ensuring that coupons are issued only when the submitted rating meets or exceeds the defined value.

The coupon amount calculation is also configurable and supports percentage-based logic. The discount amount can be calculated either based on customer's last reservation or next reservation. When the discount is calculated based on the customer’s last reservation total, administrators may define additional constraints, including: a minimum reservation amount required to qualify, a minimum coupon value, and a maximum coupon value cap. Alternatively, the coupon may be configured as a percentage discount applicable to the customer’s next reservation, directly incentivizing repeat bookings.

This flexible rules-based structure allows businesses to precisely control promotional costs while aligning incentives with revenue performance.
